A solo traveler shared the moment when she realized she had budgeted too hard, leaving social media viewers in shock and laughing.
Clara Sardá, who is from Spain, was on a solo adventure traveling around Sri Lanka, an island nation off the southern tip of India. She shared on TikTok a clip from when she was trying to find the bathroom in a restaurant she had gone to.
The clip shows the not-so-appealing conditions she walked through, leading her to joke that she had budgeted way too hard at this stage of her trip.

Sardá also saw the inside kitchen after eating, which was "a bad idea," she said.@clara.sarda/TikTok"This was a street restaurant I was having lunch in," she told Newsweek. "As soon as I finished my meal, I asked for the toilet and they redirected me here."
Sardá's video shows her walking through a dark and rundown building, which appears to be filled with rubbish and dirt.
"[I] also saw the inside kitchen after eating. Such a bad idea," she said.
She said the video was taken at a street food restaurant, close to the Nuwara Eliya train station, before she traveled to the popular Sri Lanka tourist town of Ella.
In the clip, she can be heard saying "Oh s**t" as she coughs and gags. She finds the place she was directed to, but the bathroom was a nook with just a bucket.
"Budgeting a little too hard at this point," she wrote in the text overlay of the video. In the caption of the clip, which has received over 848,000 views since it was shared on October 12, she says: "Got out of hands tbh [to be honest]."
