"The one time I don't have a window seat," the video poster wrote on the text overlay of the clip. "I think I almost lost my mind seeing this." They added in the caption of the video: "This was the coolest thing I've ever seen! [I am] very grateful for my seat neighbors for not taking up the whole window space." In the video, the jet can be seen nearing the ground over the city, eventually making a slick landing on the runway and slowing down to stop.

The TikTok user was one of the millions of people who took flights around the world this year. According to Statista, a total of 38.7 million flights are expected to be taken in 2024. That is a significant jump from the 37 million flights that took off across the globe last year, and close to the pre-pandemic record of 38.9 million in 2019. Many viewers were blown away by the clip captured by @mollydonlen, with hundreds of people taking to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts on it. One amazed user, with the username @nickjmb, commented: "You've just captured the moment someone started a new chapter of their life." "This honestly looks so much cooler framed like that though! You'd lose the perspective if you'd been up against the window," said @Eyyiioooo. Meanwhile, @ __011010110__ wrote: "This was beautiful. the thought of people in that plane, on a journey just like you, with unique and complex lives." "[I] only got to experience this once as a flight attendant," said @jada. "would do anything to see it again." The original poster of the video responded: "You're kidding! This feels even more special now. My flight attendant last week admitted she takes for granted how cool it is and forgets to look out the windows most trips." Alex commented: "And just like that they did it, all those individual humans landed safely and are off on their own adventures and living their own lives. It's beautiful."
