As many flock to Europe to enjoy a summer break, one woman's depiction of what #Eurosummer can actually be like has left viewers online in stitches. Hayley Boulden, known online as @hayleyboulden, shared a hilarious video of her friend struggling to make it up steep streets while carrying a large suitcase in what appears to be Bellagio, Italy. The short clip has been viewed more than 2.4 million times since it was shared to TikTok on June 17. Boulden captioned the post: "In honor of this gem a year ago." Viewers are able to see Boulden's friend trying to carry her 30 kilogram suitcase before pausing for breaks. Her exhausted expression has sparked plenty of laughter among viewers online. The creator had shared on her account that she is based in Sydney, Australia, meaning that she would have had to travel for over 16,000 kilometers to reach the tourist hotspot in Italy's Lombardy region. An overlaid text on the video reads: "POV: [Point of view] Traveling Europe with 30kg suitcases." More than 160,000 TikTok users have liked Boulden's post, while 1,800-plus have left comments poking fun at the travel mishap or have shared their own similar experiences. "I never understood why do people have so much to bring when traveling," one user, @fallen1cat, wrote. Another, @casjvr, added: "Ok but, 30kg?! Carrying American water with you?" "Having just returned from Europe, a travel backpack is good in theory, but oh my gosh you will never be more sore in your life. We end up buying suitcases by the end of our trip," a third user, @hayley_merrero, shared.

Another, @theatrejunkiejess, added: "The way I dragged my suitcase packed with ball gowns through Europe so I could waltz in front of castles with the German boy I met on a language app, BTW [by the way] we're engaged now. Never a backpack girlie." "Did this in Portugal. Did it exhaust me? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I just cannot be a backpack girlie but I good job for everyone who can do it," @sresdiares, added. Newsweek reached out to @hayleyboulden via email for more information.
