Laughter As Instructor Instantly Kills Paraglider's Vibe in the Air

A hilarious video of an awkward silent moment captured during a paraglider session of "the most screamable situation you could be in," has gone viral on TikTok. The clip was posted by @waliddd__ and has amassed 2.1 million views since it was first shared on June 1. A message overlaid on the video reads: "Almost 2 years ago today the pilot killed my vibe." The footage shows a paraglider with an instructor during a tandem paragliding session over a lush green landscape. The instructor looks toward the camera and says "OK guys, here we are," after which the excited paraglider immediately yells "Whoooa!" The instructor then swiftly but casually notes "no screaming." The embarrassed paraglider then replies "no screaming, my bad" as the instructor says "OK" before the video ends. A caption shared with the post says: "His little 'ok' at the end sends me every time." The latest post comes as adventure travel trips continue to see strong growth after grinding to a halt during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Total passenger demand in April was reported to be up 11 percent, compared with April 2023, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported on Thursday. Back in November 2023, globally total air traffic was reported to be at 99.1 percent of November 2019 (pre-pandemic) levels, according to an IATA report in January. Travel is projected to reach record highs in 2024. Global tourism spending is forecast to hit $2 trillion this year, with sports and adventure travel expected to be major areas of growth in 2024, according to a report last month by Euromonitor International.

'The Most Screamable Situation'

The moment captured in the latest viral video has amused users on TikTok. User bria lee noted: "No screaming in the most screamable situation you could be in is wild." DemigodDad wrote: "Comedically smooth response, I would've been irked af [as f***] myself." User madysenhuntsman said: "The way you have to just keep sitting in his lap after." User783939339!:!( noted: "I would have thought about this the whole time in the sky." "I'd tell him to just drop me off here," said @vee_ronnikkaa_ and @elliiemitchell noted "The way this would have ruined my mood for the entire thing." PR noted: "The lil OK was a little too sassy for me." Some were infuriated by the instructor's response, such as Xavier Chavez who said "If I'm paying, I'm screaming." I FIND PPL noted: "I'd be screaming 'sorry you're bored with your job but I'm having a blast and there's nothing you can do to stop me!'"
