A young girl on a plane has captured the hearts of social media users after she was filmed diligently working on a PowerPoint presentation during her flight home. The video, shared by TikTok user @bigberlingi, has amassed over 465,000 views since it was posted on February 19, with viewers charmed by the child's dedication to documenting her recent travels. A note overlaid on the video reads: "Obsessed with this wee girl making a PowerPoint on the flight home." The clip shows the child seated on the plane, typing out bullet points on a laptop. The first line of her presentation reads "As you all know I have been off and that is because, can I get a drumroll please?" followed by "I was in Lanzarote [one of the Spanish Canary Islands]." According to a 2023 U.S. Family Travel survey, 81 percent of U.S. parents reported they were likely to travel with their children this year. Additionally, the vast majority of Americans (96 percent) were reported to be planning to travel as much or even more than last winter, according to the TripAdvisor study released in November last year.

'So Cute'

The viral TikTok clip struck a chord with viewers, many of whom reminisced about their own childhood experiences. User @tiegyp wrote: "Stop, I'm crying. This is so cute, she's deffo [definitely] showing her friends this." Another viewer, @odelija, commented: "Tbh [to be honest] that is an amazing intro, I wanna see the whole thing." The video also resonated with adults who recalled their love for PowerPoint and word documents as children. "This made me smile, what an angel. I always used to do this kind of thing when I was wee!" a user named Sam wrote. Similarly, user olivia1234 commented: "Oh I remember being her once. I was just a wee girl obsessed with making Word docs and PowerPoints for my friends. This is exactly the type of thing I'd write. Girlhood is amazing." Others found inspiration in the young traveler's work ethic. "She's inspired my next talk at work," wrote one user. Another commenter, Donna, added: "This really reminds me of my daughter. She loves a PowerPoint presentation. Braver than me, those words used to send me into a spiral of anxiety at college!" Newsweek has contacted the original poster for comment via TikTok.
